How much in AWS credits can a company get?
Typical range: $1,000 self-funded, up to $100,000 with a backer, more for AI and migrations.
The amount depends on who you are and how you apply. Self-funded startups applying directly to AWS Activate Founders usually start with $1,000, and some are offered up to $5,000.
Startups backed by an approved accelerator, VC or incubator can apply to Activate Portfolio, which goes up to $200,000. Some programs for AI startups go higher still.
Established companies moving workloads to AWS can get migration funding sized to the project, often far more than startup credits. Proof-of-concept credits for testing a new service are usually smaller.

Does my spend affect how much I get?
For startup programs, not much. For migration funding, the size of the workload matters a lot.
