Who gives out AWS credits?
Credits always come from AWS, but many organizations can unlock higher amounts.
All AWS credits are issued by AWS. What changes is who opens the door.
You can apply directly to AWS Activate. Accelerators, incubators and VCs that are Activate Providers can give their startups access to higher tiers. Banks and startup tools such as business accounts and incorporation services often include an AWS perk.
AWS consulting partners can apply for migration and proof-of-concept funding on behalf of a company. Universities and research programs offer credits for academic work.
