Who is eligible for AWS credits?
Most startups under 10 years old with a real website qualify for something.
For AWS Activate, the usual conditions are: a registered company or a clear startup project, a working company website, a business email address, and no previous Activate credits at the same level.
Founders tier is for companies that haven't raised institutional funding. Portfolio needs a backer that is an Activate Provider, and is generally for companies before a later funding round.
Established companies aren't eligible for startup credits, but often qualify for migration or proof-of-concept funding instead.

Do I need to be incorporated?
It helps a lot. Some routes accept early projects, but a registered company is the safest basis.
